We specialize in vacation rental cleaning and turnovers and have a very structured scheduling and inspection system in place to ensure there are no missed cleans and no areas missed during a clean.

Unlike most cleaning companies, Ready Rental Services includes extras like fridge cleaning, dishwashing, and changing linens at no extra cost. Every clean is thorough, and we also provide guest starter supplies — all for one flat rate with no surprises. You may meet very nice cleaning ladies who will clean for far less. Without supervision, you may be paying them to text their friends, or worse, miss important areas. Similar to writers who have book editors to find mistakes, Ready Rental Services has an inspector check each clean to ensure nothing was overlooked. Unlike your cleaning lady, we do not take vacation days, holidays off and are available 365 days with back up help readily available. We also schedule free pre-arrival checks if your home is vacant more than 14 days. We do a quick walk though to check for bugs, leaks, mold in toilets and any unwelcome surprises before guests check-in.

Remember that the cleaning fee is a pass through cost to guests and paying a little more to ensure your property is handled by professionals can mean a huge return in the long run. One bad review about your cleaning lady missing something could potentially repel dozens of future guests and mean thousands in lost revenue. We understand this and take it very seriously. Our cleaners are professional cleaners, and yes, this is a profession! They take pride in their work. Professional cleaners know how to work in a pattern and use systems to ensure they do not miss anything. They are trained in cleaning various surfaces without damaging them. They are trained to look up, down, under and in-between. They are trained to open and touch everything. Residential home cleaners clean around items and do not open drawers or cabinets or even clean ovens or refrigerators without billing an astronomical amount. Professional short term rental cleaners know this is part of the job and imperative to avoid guests finding an unwelcome surprise. Cleaning to this level of detail is hard work! It is very difficult to check your own work, so we always inspect and double check the cleaning.

Managing your short-term rental can be tough, and we’re here to help!

  • Simply put, a deep clean means taking everything from cabinets and closets and cleaning and organizing them, moving all furniture into the middle of the room to get underneath and behind to clean, washing all fabric items (i.e. bedskirts, mattress pads, throw blankets, bedspreads, etc). Cleaning ceiling vents, inside fan/light fixtures and many other tasks that are not possible or feasible during a standard turnover clean. Deep cleans are very time consuming, usually upwards of 12-15 hours! We suggest deep cleans every 6 months.

  • The most important is limiting furnishings and knick knacks. Knick knacks add clutter and extra cleaning time. Less is more. Choose a few paintings and items that stand out in the room.

    In addition, limit access to extra linens and towels. Leave out only what guests will need. Most units have a washer & dryer. Leaving out extras means the potential for an exorbitant amount of laundry which increases the cleaning fee dramatically. In addition, it is customary for beach properties to request guests wash beach towels. This saves on laundry time as well. Ready Rental Services will suggest an appropriate amount of towels to place out per your max guest count and place the rest in an area not accessible to guests.

  • Guests expect to pay a cleaning fee. The platforms (i.e. Airbnb, VRBO) show guests the total per night including all taxes and fees so that they can compare with other properties while searching. Guests do not see the cleaning fee until well into the booking process. By this point they have already chosen your property and it is unlikely they will abandon booking due to the cleaning fee.

    Guests choose properties by location, price and other amenities that they are hoping for. Cleanliness is the number one complaint for most hosts, especially those with a “cleaning lady” who does not know to lift the couch cushions, or throw away old food, etc. Cleaning is by far the best investment you can make as it shows in ALL guest reviews. A single bad review about cleanliness can potentially deter many future guests. We can assist with advice on keeping the fee competitive.
